This innovative product produces biochar from coffee grounds as an environmentally friendly alternative fuel. Coffee grounds are dried, ground and mixed with a binding agent such as starch and a little water. The mixture is then compressed using a mold and dried to produce a dense and easy-to-use charcoal. This product supports SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production through the reuse of coffee grounds and SDG 13: Action on Climate Change through the reduction of organic waste. The advantages of the product are low production costs, easy to produce and have added value. In schools, this innovation improves STEM skills and students' awareness of sustainability. For the community, the product has the potential to generate side income, while for the environment, it helps reduce coffee grounds waste and promote a circular economy.
