According to official data from the Malaysian Examinations Syndicate, Chemistry consistently ranks as one of the most challenging subjects for SPM students, frequently yielding lower performance compared to other science subjects. This difficulty largely stems from chemistry having complex theoretical concepts that are difficult for students to grasp and a lack of engaging learning tools. To solve this, we created CHEMSIGHT, which is an innovative educational application designed to make SPM Chemistry more enjoyable and interactive. The app transforms traditional revision into an engaging experience through gamified quizzes, topical exercises, and visual aids tailored to the SPM syllabus. Most importantly, it features an integrated teacher dashboard that tracks student performance and mastery levels based on quiz results and exercise completion. This analytical tool enables educators to easily identify learning gaps, track class progress, and provide timely, targeted guidance. By pairing gamified student learning with data-driven insights for teachers, CHEMSIGHT aims to deepen conceptual understanding, boost exam confidence, and ultimately raise SPM Chemistry scores.
