MathVerse is an innovative digital storytelling resource designed to develop early mathematical skills among children aged four to six. It integrates engaging narratives, colourful illustrations, audio, animation and interactive activities to introduce counting and number recognition. Children learn by helping story characters complete mathematical challenges based on everyday situations. The innovation applies play-based and child-centred approaches to increase interest, participation and confidence in mathematics. MathVerse can be used by teachers in classrooms and parents at home, supporting flexible learning while strengthening children’s digital literacy, communication, critical-thinking skills and meaningful mathematical understanding through enjoyable experiences.
