Students sometimes lose or forget their locker keys. This can make it difficult for them to keep their belongings safe. To solve this problem, we created the Smart Safe Box, a locker security system that uses a fingerprint instead of a key.

The Smart Safe Box uses an Arduino Uno and a fingerprint sensor. When a user places a finger on the sensor, the system checks the fingerprint. If the fingerprint is correct, the box will unlock. If it is not recognised, the box will stay locked.

This project makes the locker safer, easier and faster to use. Students do not need to worry about losing their keys anymore. In the future, the Smart Safe Box can be improved by adding face recognition, a warning buzzer and mobile phone connection.
