LibCentral is a web-based library space booking platform designed to modernize and streamline reservation management in Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Ipoh. Traditional manual booking methods through phone calls, Whatsapp messaging and walk-in requests at the library often result in inefficiencies, scheduling conflicts, limited accessibility and increased administrative workload. LibCentral addresses these challenges by providing an integrated platform that combines online forms, email notifications and calendar management within a single system. Users can conveniently submit booking requests and monitor their reservation status anytime and anywhere. To ensure effective resource utilization and prevent scheduling conflicts, all booking requests are subject to review by the library staff, who are responsible for approving or rejecting reservations based on availability and institutional requirements. The system provides real-time updates and automated notifications, ensuring users receive timely confirmation and clear status information. For library personnel, LibCentral reduces manual administrative tasks and supports more efficient management of library facilities and resources.
