Smart Financial Planner is a user-friendly web application designed to help Malaysian students, young professionals, and working adults manage their finances effectively. Guided by the 50/30/20 budgeting rule, the application helps users allocate their monthly income across three categories: essentials, commitments, and savings. Its AI Advisor provides personalised suggestions for allocating any remaining funds. A preliminary survey involving 32 users showed positive results: 72% found the application easy to learn and use, 78% found the financial information clear, 84% regarded it as a practical financial management tool, and 88% were satisfied with their experience. These findings demonstrate the application’s potential to promote financial discipline and consistent retirement savings.
