Traditional automotive lifting platforms often lack mobility and require tethered external power sources, limiting their portability in emergency rescue operations and workshop environments. This project presents LiftMate IoT, a portable, smart wireless car lifting and trolley system designed for automated vehicle maintenance and easy transport. Built around an ESP32 Wi-Fi microcontroller and powered by an independent 12V battery system, LiftMate IoT operates completely wire-free from the target vehicle.
The system utilizes a high-current relay module to drive a 12V linear actuator, operating a heavy-duty scissor lift mechanism mounted on lockable $360^\circ$ trolley wheels. Users can control vertical movement wirelessly via the Blynk mobile application—featuring dedicated Lift Up, Lift Down, Emergency Stop, System Status, and Battery Voltage pins—or manually through physical push buttons. A $16\times2$ I2C LCD provides local real-time operational feedback and battery level metrics.
Safety features include upper and lower limit switches to prevent mechanical over-extension, short-circuit fuse protection, and an immediate emergency stop override. Combining structural mobility with IoT control, LiftMate IoT offers a scalable, reliable, and portable lifting solution ideal for automotive workshops, parking areas, emergency roadside assistance, and car service centers.
