This project proposal outlines the design and development of Pesca, a single-player casual, educational, and collection-based fishing mini-game prototype developed for Seahawk Fishing by ATLAS CORP. The game aims to combine a relaxing, mindfulness driven gameplay loop with educational value, teaching players aged 8 to 16 about different fish species and facts through a built-in Discovery Book. Strategically, the project emphasizes a narrative core centered around a young boy who sets out on a journey across three distinct water depths shallow, middle, and deep to continue his disabled grandfather's legacy, culminating in the capture of a legendary fish. Mechanically, players cast and reel lines based on timing, selling their catch at a central dock hub to earn currency for vital fishing rod upgrades. Pesca stands out by balancing its heartwarming story and soft, chibi cartoon aesthetics with meaningful learning parameters. This proposal details the complete lifecycle from requirement analysis, scripting, and storyboard layouts to cost estimations and development schedules, serving as a comprehensive blueprint for the final implementation in Unity 2D.
