This innovation project proposes a cinematic micro-learning approach that utilizes short film production as an educational storytelling medium to enhance student engagement and learning effectiveness. Traditional teaching methods often rely heavily on lectures and textual materials, which may limit student attention and active participation. This project addresses this issue by transforming educational content into short cinematic narratives that present real-life situations in a structured and engaging format.

The project involves the development of a 3 to 5 minutes short educational film using basic multimedia tools such as smartphone recording and simple video editing software. The narrative structure follows three key stages: problem identification, conflict development and resolution, enabling learners to observe challenges, experience emotional engagement and understand practical solutions. The selected themes focus on common student issues such as time management, stress and learning discipline.

The innovation of this project lies in the integration of cinematic storytelling with micro learning principles, promoting experiential and student centre learning. It encourages active learning through visual and emotional engagement while remaining cost effective and accessible for educational institutions.

The expected outcome is an engaging educational film that can be used as a supplementary teaching resource in classrooms or digital learning platforms. This approach demonstrates that meaningful learning can be achieved through creative multimedia storytelling without requiring advanced or expensive production technologies.
