MAYANG The Seventh Pearl is an interactive digital comic-based English learning innovation designed for primary ESL learners. It integrates English language learning, Malaysian East Coast cultural heritage, environmental awareness, and MADANI values through six interconnected stories featuring Aiman and Teja. Each story focuses on one MADANI value and uses meaningful local contexts to develop pupils’ vocabulary, comprehension, communication, and critical thinking skills. Interactive choices, comprehension activities, quick games, and gamification encourage active participation. Progressing from Pre-A1 to A2, the stories culminate in the Seventh Pearl, symbolising Unity. MAYANG promotes meaningful English learning while fostering cultural appreciation, responsible choices, and community values.
