SafeGuard AI is an intelligent workplace safety monitoring system developed using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The system uses HuskyLens AI vision sensor to identify workers and monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety helmets and safety vests. An ESP32 processes the detected safety conditions in real time. When missing or incomplete PPE is detected, the system automatically activates a warning LED and buzzer to provide an immediate on-site alert. Simultaneously, an IoT-based Telegram notification is sent to responsible personnel, enabling rapid response and improving workplace safety, awareness, and PPE compliance.
