ABSTRACT

High-yielding crop yields can produce other safe and potentially safer products, thereby reducing wastage and generating revenue. This product made of a mixture of natural fibres of Cogon husk (Imperata cylindrica), coconut husk (Cocus nucifera), banana bark (Musa acuminata) and tea powder (Camellia sinensis). High fibres content of 35.9% for Imperata sp. husk is 33.1% , coconut fibre 10.8%, banana peels and 19.3% in tea leaves. The product we produce have the potential of increasing the usage of fibres in crops for mat, playground mat and outside decorations. It is also to provide a low cost, eco-environmental friendly product and to produce multifunction such as base or seeding site for plants. The natural material are used in ratio of 3:4:1:2 which is Imperata sp. Fibre: coconut husk : banana peel fibres: tea powder and latex is used. The Fibre Mat is a multifunction product that can be used as a mat in our house, playground and a nursery. Banana’s peel contained Calcium, Potassium and Natrium which is one of the crucial elements needed in plants.  Tea powder prepare planter for potting and enhance your compost pile. The revenue usage of fibres is eco - environmental friendly, low cost and long lasting. Fibre Mat is very efficient product compared to other playground mat or outside decoration.  It produces by natural ingredients which are more safer preferable for users and has high potential to commercialize to the whole world.
