The IoT Smart Medicine Reminder is an innovative project developed to help people take their medicine on time and maintain a proper medication schedule. Many people, especially elderly individuals and patients who take several types of medicine, may sometimes forget to take their medicine at the correct time. This project uses Internet of Things (IoT) technology, sensors, a microcontroller, a buzzer, LED indicators, and a medicine storage system to provide timely reminders.
The system is programmed with the user’s medicine schedule. When it is time to take the medicine, the buzzer and LED indicator are activated to alert the user. The system can also send the reminder status to a connected device through the internet. This allows family members or caregivers to monitor whether the scheduled reminder has been attended to. The project aims to reduce missed medication reminders, improve medication routines, and provide a simple and affordable solution for better daily healthcare management. Overall, the IoT Smart Medicine Reminder demonstrates how smart technology can be used to make healthcare more convenient, organized, and safer.
