This presentation introduces a five-stage Islamic literary reading tool designed as an educational innovation for teaching and learning. The tool integrates Critical Discourse Analysis, Sociocognitive Theory, Critical Race Theory, Postcolonial Theory, and MusCrit into one structured reading sequence. It responds to a key gap in literary education, where critical analysis and Islamic ethical evaluation are often separated. To show its practicality, the presentation demonstrates the tool through the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper. The proposed framework offers teachers and students a guided way to move from textual analysis to ethical judgement, making literary reading more critical, coherent, and Islamically grounded.
